During the next episodes I will address very operational topics such as: how to structure your business, how to organize yourself, how to implement new strategies, what levers to prioritize to boost your results, in short… I will try as usual to answer them and give you methods, tips that have proven their worth.

When you create your business or even when you have already created it, the question arises for a moment “in what order should you do things correctly to structure your business and move forward with development? » and how to organize to pass the stages one after the other? In short, where to start?

Of course if you try to do everything at the same time, you probably won’t get results that meet your expectations, but surely a good dose of frustration…

To be sure that you are able to get the most out of all the actions and strategies you are going to undertake, it is essential to put in place a precise action plan, step by step, to bring your activity to the desired level.

So I’m going to offer you a method (but by no means THE METHOD) to do things calmly, step by step. I learned this method in the US during my training as a business coach.

Having a profitable business means taking the time to work both IN your business (by exercising your profession as an expert) but also ON your business (and this is your job as a business manager, an entrepreneur) . To build this profitable business, I invite you to follow this method step by step.

In this episode, I will give you a general overview of the 5 big steps with the topics to dig into each of these steps. In the next episodes, we will go into the details of steps 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Step 1: Mastery

This step consists of building the foundations within your company and consolidating/mastering the following 4 areas: destination – finances – time – operations.

The destination is the why, the raison d’être of your company with the vision/mission/values trilogy of the company.

Finance is here the control and monitoring of the business with the implementation of performance indicators and the development of provisional budgets at 3 years, 2 years, and 1 year.

The time with managing priorities, defining the main roles and responsibilities of each other to clearly specify who does what. The idea here is to ensure that it is not your business that directs you but you who direct your business and who are fully involved in your decisions.

Finally, operations is the ability to set up procedures and tools to do it right the first time, facilitate purchases and above all optimize customer service.

 Step 2: Differentiation

This stage concerns marketing and sales. At this level it would be interesting to develop a   USP (Unique Selling Proposition) or in French the  PUV (Unique Selling Proposition) accompanied by a powerful guarantee to reassure your customers and encourage them to buy. I will also talk here about business development with different strategies that will allow you to work on the 5 levers to obtain exponential results: the generation of contacts (leads), the conversion rate, the number of transactions, the average value per transaction and margins. .

 Step 3: Systematization

This step is about making more improvements through systems and technology. Thus, you will be able to “do more with less” and set up a company that works more efficiently, thanks to procedures, automation and this is essential in companies that work with very few people and a fortiori when you are alone. !

 Step 4: The team

This step is about developing growth through the team. Your role will be to grow this team and engage it on a daily basis through the implementation of HR strategies: training or form’action, team coaching, integration, recruitment…

 Step 5: Synergy

This last step is to generate optimum RESULTS in your company thanks to the best combination between your teams and your systems.

In the end, the result will be a real business that looks like   “a COMMERCIAL and PROFITABLE Activity, which can operate, at least in part, without YOU”.

Also to take the time to talk quietly about these 5 steps I will take them up one by one in dedicated episodes.
